Innumerous Profits of Wine

Hey wine consumers! There is good news for all of you. It has been scientifically proved that red wine is beneficial for
heart and the white wine is good for lungs. Well, this doesn't stop here. A wine plays a very crucial role in adding stars to
many other organs - in short, wine is beneficial to many organs. The health profits of wine exceed the human body, rebuffing to
develop a monogamous relationship with any one part.

Here are few imperceptible ways wine is actually assisting you or has the ability to assist you in future.

Obesity: The term "beer belly" usually portrays that alcohol
might have been the main causative in increasing the size of your belly. Well,
that's entirely wrong; wine is in fact proven to aid the severely obese person.
In order to try this out, consume the wine that does not contain sugar, at least
four or five times (little quantity) at dinnertime or bedtime. One study on
this particular part says that the one who consume the sugarless wine resulted
in average weight loss twice that of those who didn't. In addition to all the
heavenly property it also helps in ridding the tensions and anxiety of the body.

Old Age: Old age is not an illness. However it is a difficulty
to our health. Still, it's a difficulty those of us in adolescence hope to obtain
someday. Growing old might bring lot of troubles. Wine can help in their relief.
For starters, wine reduces the reliance on certain tablets, particularly tablets
that relax and anesthetize people. Wine has also resulted in increasing the
appetite, confidence and social lives of those in old age.

Cleverness: Averagely, people who consume wine are of higher
education levels when compared with those who don't consume alcohol or drink
far too much. This is not trying to convey that you should, Merlot in hand,
roll your eyes at the stupidity of someone drinking a beer, but it's comforting
to know wine drinkers are in good, and smart, company.

Cancer: Red wine containing the pulp of grape consists of
innumerous antioxidants; this antioxidant helps in preventing cancer. Wine is
loaded with defensive and protective affects. A scientific research says that,
woman who ingests 12 glasses of wine per week were satisfied with an 83 percent
decrease in endometrial cancer rates.

Kidney Cancer is proved to have a enemy called 'wine'. According to a study
carried out in Sweden by Dr. Alicja Wolk of the Karolinska Institute, women
who consume fair amounts of wine had a very minimum kidney cancer risk on comparison.

Diabetes: non-insulin diabetes that typically develops with
age is less likely to affect those who consume wine moderately.

Bone Power: a scientific research has found out that the wine
drinkers have good bone strength and they have less chances of Osteoporosis.
It reduces the rate of bone fractures.

Wine just doesn't stop there. From your top to the bottom, wine offers a glassful of profits. These are the only ones, which are scientifically proved till now. As the wine rebellion achieves even more ground, and more studies are performed, the profit of wine may persist to be known more and more, pouring good health on all who drink it.

Top Chef: Listen, all a' y'all, it's SABOTAGE. . .or not.

Thu, 15 May 2008 04:04:41 PDT
Bullshit. Bullshit. Bull Shit. Fucking monkey bullshit. Ass biting bullshit. Let me clarify for you why I’m so pissed. Months ago—months ago—someone on the TWoP Top Chef spoiler board said that Chicagoist had leaked reports from someone who lived in the Chez Chef Chicago neighborhood, who’d said that “the curly haired girl” and “the guy with the beard” made it far. Naturally, everyone assumed Andrew was “the guy with the beard.” Because, you know. . .he can cook. But now Andrew’s gone, and the

On the road again...to Italy

Hi everydog!! Hope you're having some really nice weather where you are. It's in the upper 70's here in Germany which the humans find to be quite pleasant...but without A/C I have to say it's a bit warm. At least the mornings are still nice and cool, though. And we get lots of shade in our courtyard. My humans also keep me cool with ice cubes and homemade ice cream treats...and all the water I can handle from the old pump outside. But that water is super cold so I have to pace myself! Saint Lo

Music Affect Wine Tastes

Thu, 15 May 2008 04:13:30 PDT
An article in today’s Globe and Mail reports on a discovery by a Adrian North, a Professor in psychology at the University of Leicester who specializes in experimental aesthetics, that what music you listen to affects how you percieve the taste of your wine. Which got me wondering whether a wine recommender system based on music preferences might not just be useful for recommending wine, but also for discovering facts about the human perceptual apparatus. Ditto, perhaps, for books and food or

Wine and Music Pairings

Thu, 15 May 2008 05:04:04 PDT
On another tack, I read this bit of news today: Music ‘can enhance wine taste.’ Apparently now music, too, can be paired with certain wines. Such as Hendrix with Cabernet Sauvignon, Tina Turner with a Chardonnay and Otis Redding with Merlot. Who’d a thunk it? I wonder what The Dears would be paired with? I guess it would depend on the song, but I feel like we’d be a red, maybe a dark, Argentinian Malbec? Nothing too light, definitely something you’d consume after dinner.

White Wine’s Influence on the Lungs

Thu, 15 May 2008 06:03:22 PDT
White Wine’s Influence on the Lungs Posted by admin on May 15th, 2008 2008 May 15 For years now, we’ve been praising the health benefits of red wine, raising our glasses and toasting Merlot as bottles of white wine sit in the corner, fermenting with jealously. Because red wine has been known to have a positive impact on the human body, with particular profits to the cardiovascular system, we drink it and we heart it. Not to be outdone by its colorful adversary, studies have rec

Report from ... Sante International Tasting – May 7, 2008

Sante turned 10 this year and to celebrate the occasion both Australia and California were selected as co-featured regions – which means a night was dedicated to Californian wines and another to Australian. For those who have been living in a cave the past 10 years, Sante is the International Wine Festival of Toronto; think of it as the Toronto International Film Festival of the wine world. Celebrity winemakers, producers and owners show up to pour and talk about their wines – showcasing wines t
